Oriental Beauty

Gardening is one of those things in life, that I just couldn't imagine doing without. It is such a thrill in the spring to walk daily through the yard and see what has popped it's head out.

Then as the days get sunnier and warmer, the buds and blossoms appear, always beautiful, nothing short of amazing.

What a glorious sight, when the first blooms of an oriental poppy appear, like magic. Then a few days pass, and at the first sign of a breeze, the petals drop and the blooms are gone. One is lucky to experience the beauty and hopefully have taken several photos to refer to later.
