You're a Star

An oceanside walk on a warm fall day brings about all sorts of wonderful surprises. Sometimes one is lucky to see sand dollars, a few crabs scurrying sideways, and every now and then an occasional a star fish or two.­

I was particularly interested in how the water would gently glide over the star fish leaving it glistening in the sun. I tried to capture the whimsical motion of the water in this painting .
